The entrance of His Word gives light. (Ps. 119:130)
Chayil (masculine noun) pronounced khah'·yil
meaning: strength, might, efficiency, wealth, army, ability, force, army, valiant, virtuous
Valor is great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle.
Chayil is spelled Chet, Yood, Lamed in Hebrew
Chet is the picture of the fence and indicates a place of protection, a sanctuary, or a place of security.
Yood is the picture of the hand or arm and points to a mighty deed.
Lamed is the picture of the shepherd’s staff and demonstrates the voice of authority or control.
The letter of Chayil reveals that the warriors of the army of Israel were Lamed, (under strong leadership) Yood, (performing a mighty work), and Chet, (providing a place of protection, a sanctuary for their people, especially for their wives and little ones).
This is how God sees us mighty men and women of valor- Chayil
Judges 6:11, Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites, and the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.
Jephthah in Judges 11:11 was deemed a "mighty man of valor," who despite he was a son of a harlot possessed the character trait that God could use. Your biological connections do not define who you are. A heart in submission to God will be honored.
This is how God sees us mighty men and women of valor- Chayil
